スペイン、マドリッドにある素敵なお店をご紹介します。

ファッション、デザイン、アートをひとつの空間で楽しめるセレクトショップで、
洗練されたセンスと商品ラインナップで、ユニークな世界をつくり上げています。
フロアはファッション、インテリア、書籍に分かれており、ギャラリーとカフェも併設しています。

Let me introduce a nice shop in Madrid, Spain.

“Do” is the concept store which has fresh idea and overflowing with sophisticated taste. The floor is divided into each section, Fashion & Accessories, Furniture & Decoration, Magazines, Fanzines & Stationery, Art Gallery and Café. And all parts are united by the same vision and style.　This space created with “ a philosophy focused on the creation of a space integrating Art, Fashion, and Design as seen through the same lens.”

CAST, HO-N-NE, Coutureなどなどキントー商品もお目見え。

ギャラリーではスペインのアーティストの展示会が毎月行われており、現在はMarta Botasというアーティストによる、MEMORY COCINA “キッチンの追憶” という展示が開催中です。

The several impressive exhibitions are organized in the art gallery.
A Spanish artist Marta Botas’s exhibition is being held now. The name is “MEMORY COCINA”.

INTL sales team in Asakusa

昨夜、KINTOの海外営業チームは、江戸情緒が色濃く残る浅草へ行ってきました。
At last night, KINTO international sales team visited Asakusa, the old district with historical EDO atomosphere.

同じく日本から海外へ、ユニークで使いやすい家庭用品を発信し続けている株式会社マーナの皆さんと
楽しいお食事会でした。とっても美味しいイタリアンにワイン。本当にありがとうございました。
We had a dinner with MARNA people who also bring unique and functional housewares from Japan to the world. Vary tasty litalian dishes and wine. Thank you so much.

やっぱり浅草はだんぜん素敵。今度ゆっくりまた来よう。
海外から日本に来られる方は、是非浅草とアルティスタへ。オススメです。
Asakusa is absolutely a nice area. Should visit again with enough time. If you are living in outside of Japan and will come to Japan, visit Asakusa and restaurant アルティスタ. It’s my recommendation.

近頃出張に行っていないのでネタが乏しく、
ついにシカゴの話題を無理やりひっぱってくるという
暴挙に出てみました。
Haven’t had any business trip recentrly, I put some photos from my Chicago stay.

シカゴと言えば、映画アンタッチャブル。ツアーバスが走っていました。
Chicago is famous for the movie Untouchable, so the tour bus was there.

滋賀県からのレポートが面白くて、ちょっと乗り遅れちゃいました。

I forgot to post these as the Asako’s report is very interesting.

スズメもお花見。楽しそう。

急な階段をのぼり・・・

立派な石垣を超え・・・

我らが彦根城に到着！お見事です。
Imposing figure…This is the Hikone castle.

彦根城の歴史を少し・・・
彦根城は、1622年に近江一帯を治めていた井伊家によって築城されました。当初は京都と西国勢力の沈勢のために作られた防衛線でしたが、太平の世といわれた江戸時代、彦根藩、そして徳川幕府の権力の象徴として守られました。幕末の大老井伊直弼も彦根城下に住んでいたそうです。
Hikone castle was built in 1622 by Ii family which was ruling the area around
Oomi Province. It is located in just between the west and the east of Japan. And it was the guard or the defence from the power of previous ruler in the west. But during the well controled priod, Edo, Hikone castle became a symbol of Hikone and also Edo shogunate.

現在日本に現存する１２個の城のなかでも、特に保存状態が良く、国宝として大切に守られています。
Hikone is one of only 12 Japanese castles which keep their original figures and protected by the people as a national treasure.

そんな彦根城下に、キントー本社がございます。
KINTO head office is in the Hikone castle town.

Let’s visit TDC with J&J – DAY 4

さてさてこちらは彦根にありますキントーのメイン倉庫TDC。
Let me show you KINTO warehouse “TDC” in Hikone, Shiga.

１階部分は工場から入荷したカートンが天井まで整然と積まれています。
一番上の棚に荷物を積むときは、このように…のびます…天までのびます!
Fナガさんの勇姿ご覧あれ!
On the grand floor is the huge storage space for the cartons.
When we put the cartons on the top, the car lift them up…up… and up.
Look, warehouse manager Mr.F ‘s accomplished technique!

2階ではカートンマークや伝票を作成。
3階はピッキング, パッキング、バーコードラベルを貼ったりと、細かな作業を行っています。
（と、説明をしています。）
First floor is for making waybill, or carton mark.
Second floor is for the picking, assorting, and the goods are preparing one by one.

そして荷物はラインを流れ・・・エレベーターで一階へ。
The goods are carried on the line…and go down to the grand floor by the elevator.

そして出荷。
KINTO商品はこちらTDCから日本中に、そして世界中に出荷されます。
And the departure from TDC. KINTO product are distributed throughout Japan or fly/ship to all over the world.
